RE: Get Your 'Charlie Jade' Questions Answered by Show Creator Robert Wertheimer
Welcome to the forums, cyb!
Your mention of the French fan base did prompt another question, this time involving FM LeSeiur's fabulous score. (Yes, I know he's French-Canadian, and there's a difference, but that was my mind's jumping-off point.) Has there been any movement on getting a soundtrack album released? Of course, an R1 DVD release is the priority, but I really think the wonderful, atmospheric music from the show would find an audience, too. If NPR can broadcast an ambient music show like Echoes five nights a week, I'm sure there's a market for FM's music, too. Of course, I remember hearing that this score wasn't FM's usual cup to tea, so the composer himself may not care too much about getting it out there. But, with all the new avenues for releasing material now, perhaps some sort of limited, exclusive distribution is possible. I know I'd love to hear the extended pieces on their own, not just behind scenes and credits.
What do you want? (Information.)
Who are you? (The new #2.)
Who is #1? (You are #6.)
Not the One. (Zathrus)

I hope it's not too late.
11.
a) "You're the only one who could shift. Never did figure that out did'ya?".
"My father had a file on you from way back."
c) "This, we did not expect"?
What does these three sentences mean, exactly?
12. Is there an existing ep. 16 script with multiple Charlies? And if so, will it be published?

Did the call/podcast happen yet?
It is good to encounter you again, KB. I used to listen to the Firefly/Serenity podcast faithfully, until I quit commuting to work an hour each way: A very enjoyable method of avoiding road rage, I can tell you!
As did the French commenter, I have also noticed some marked similarities between Fringe and CJ. The special effects used to indicate Dunham's "see through" to the other verse, as well as her "pass through" on one occasion struck me as being very CJ-esque. I'm hoping this is neither a ripoff, nor a coincidence, but an homage. Has RW noticed the same thing, and does he have any opinions on whether the clear similarities are indeed tips-o-the-hat to CJ?
I have two remaining questions:
1. Is there any hope for a region 1 DVD for the US? I really want to own this series, as much as I wanted to own Firefly during the campaign to get a green-light for Serenity.
2. What are the realistic expectations for a CJ TV movie, or indeed any continuation of CJ's story beyond the episodes already released? I think that a DVD set including newly-produced "lost episodes" that constitute a truncated Season 2 and fitting finale for the series would sell well. My money's on the table, at least.
